This cable is designed for lighting applications in solar energy systems. (more applications will follow later).
Energy consumption can be significantly reduced by the ability to dim lightingwhen needed.
Lower power consumption will reduce the overall system cost. Also, theavailability of the lighting will increase, even in case of a partially chargedbattery in low sun.
The cable connects the TX output of the VE.Direct connector of an MPPT75/15 or 100/15 with the PWM dimmer input of the LED driver.
The MPPT charge controller must have a software version 1:15 or higher.
A MPPT charge controller with an older software version can be updated for this

Victron Temperature Sensor for the BlueSolar PWM-Pro series. Temperature sensore are only needed if charge controller and battery are exposed to different ambient temperatures, for example because the are in different rooms or the battery’s underground is much cooler than the wall the controller is installed on.
Thanks to the sensor the charge controller can perform a temperature compensation during the charging process that ensures an ideal charge and a long battery life-span.
The temperature sensor is compatible with the following Victron charge controllers:
